The Town of Cornwall Recreation Department strives to improve the quality of life for all residents by providing a wide variety of facilities, recreational programs, special events, and trips at an affordable price. We look forward to serving you!

Stop in and visit us during normal office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday to register for any of our programs. Most of our programs are also available on our website to register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, safely and securely!

Join Us for an Open House at the Riverlight Park Pool!

Since being awarded a $5.58 million NY SWIMS grant in December, the Town has been hard at work developing plans for the new pool facility at Riverlight Park.

Residents are invited to stop by for an informal, drop-in gathering to tour the existing pool complex and learn more about what’s in store for the replacement project. We’ll have renderings and site plans of the proposed new pool, along with project details and anticipated costs.

The Town Supervisor and other Town representatives will be on hand to answer questions, provide additional information, and hear from residents as we move this transformative project forward.

Summer Camp

KinderKamp for ages 4&5 & Summer Playground for children 1st-8th grade. Campers enjoy arts and crafts, games, swimming, & many more fun organized activities.

Community Pool

The Town Pool and Wading Pool are open for the summer season for both residents & non-residents. Pool passes are required for everyone.

Pre-K & Youth

Various recreation programs for children are offered, such as Tennis Camp, Toddler Yoga, and Laugh & Learn Toddler Time.

We have a variety of recreational parks throughout the town which offer playgrounds & outdoor activities for all.

The Farmers' Market takes place every Wednesday in front of Town Hall with various local vendors.

Munger Cottage is the Town's Senior Community Center, which offers classes and bus trips throughout the area for our senior citizens.
